Our Philosophy

The company is founded on the simple philosophy that “quality shouldn’t cost more.” All clients require the highest possible quality in their projects, and many believe that this requires higher costs. Pinnacle demonstrates that high quality and competitive costs are not mutually exclusive. The company’s experience and proven, efficient control of costs makes it possible to offer our clients superior service at the lowest possible price.

Pinnacle has never exceeded the quoted project cost for an approved scope of work. Only significant changes in the scope of work for a project have ever resulted in a change in the final project cost.

Pinnacle brings the concept of personal attention back to the consulting industry. Our highly experienced professionals follow a project from start to finish. Pinnacle does not use the approach popular in the industry today where a highly experienced project manager/marketer meets the client and secures the project, and then assigns less experienced staff to complete the project due to cost considerations. Pinnacle’s clients are assured that only highly qualified personnel are working on their project. We work closely with clients to develop an understanding of their organization and objectives. Pinnacle forms partnerships with their clients based on positive relationships that are directed towards a common, well-defined, goal.

Pinnacle provides the client with qualified technical personnel to complete an evaluation of the available data to determine the optimal course of action. A detailed workplan is developed with the active participation of the client. The workplan is the road map to achieving the goals defined for the site. Critical tasks are identified, costs are estimated, and detailed work plans are prepared (if required) so that the means of achieving the goal are always clear and understood.

The workplan is implemented by qualified and experienced personnel. Pinnacle believes that the acquisition of the basic field data is the most critical aspect of a project. Questionable data leads to questionable decisions, which usually results in higher costs. Inexperienced staff is never utilized on project work. Completion of field work by highly experienced personnel ensures the client that the work will proceed smoothly, efficiently, and at a lower cost.

Pinnacle is dedicated to preparing reports as rapidly as possible. Once the data is available, Pinnacle’s experience allows the evaluation and reporting to be completed in minimum time. On projects requiring acquisition of analytical data, Pinnacle selects qualified laboratories that combine the shortest turnaround time and the lowest cost.

By cultivating professional relationships with the involved regulatory agency personnel, Pinnacle is often able to address regulatory concerns before they become a problem for the client. Pinnacle has a proven track record of success working with various Regional Water Quality Control Boards (RWQCB) and the California State Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC).
